Holy Name of Jesus

History

The parish purchased its property on Chomedey Boulevard on August 15, 1967. The first mass was celebrated there on May 25, 1969, by Bishop Norman J. Gallagher, and the church was blessed on September 26, 1969, by Archbishop Paul Grégoire. It was formally consecrated, debt-free, on September 24, 1995, by Archbishop Jean-Claude Turcotte.
