Who operates Paroisse Hub
Paroisse Hub is an independent digital directory, developed and maintained by Infotech Solutions. It is not an official website of any diocese, parish, or the Catholic Church.
Data collected
When creating an account: first name, last name and email address. When using the account: favourite churches and a preferred diocese. When submitting the Contact form: name, email, subject and message.
Why this data is collected
To create and manage an account, to personalize the favourites list and preferred diocese shown on the homepage, and to respond to messages submitted through the contact form.
Accounts and favourites
Favourites (saved churches) and the preferred diocese are visible only to the account holder, once signed in.
Retention period
Account data is kept for as long as the account exists. A deletion request can be sent via the Contact page.
Security
Passwords are stored as secure hashes (bcrypt), never in plain text. Access to account data is protected by authentication.
Service providers
The platform relies on third-party hosting and database services for its technical operation. No data is sold to third parties.
Cookies
Paroisse Hub currently uses no advertising tracking cookies or third-party analytics tools. Only technical mechanisms strictly necessary for sign-in (authentication session) are used.
User rights
Anyone may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information by writing via the Contact page.
Changing or deleting an account
Account deletion, along with its associated data, can be requested via the Contact page.
